The Earth is what we all have in common
A word from Mama
‘‘We only have one world and we should all be doing our best to take care of it. We haven’t all got to go vegan or live restrictive lifestyles, but we can make little changes to our day to day lives.’’
At Mamas we don’t do ‘brand new’, not only is this way of doing things better for the environment, but it looks cool too - well at least we think so. Our reception desk is made of vintage books and upcycled materials and the hostel is full of pre-loved furniture and bric-a-brac. Plus, we have natural stone heating, water-efficient toilets and showers, double glazed windows, a grass roof for eco isolation and an environmentally friendly water system and waste recycling - cool right?!
